It’s time to adopt. Not shop.

If you’ve been thinking about a new furry friend, today is a good opportunity to take action and rehome a pet in need of a good owner.

Many pets languish in pounds across the country, waiting for the chance to meet their forever owners. Rather than buying a pet from a breeder, consider adopting a pet in need of help.

This will be the third National Pet Adoption Day and organisers are hopeful that it will go part of the way towards rehoming the estimated 230,000 pets in pounds and shelters across Australia.
